Young children and teens are particularly vulnerable to anxiety, stress, behavioural
issues and even regressed development when they or a family member is diagnosed
with cancer. Parents are often concerned and confused about how best to talk
to their children, and for many parents and children, there is a sense of guilt,
overwhelming fear, and worry. Wellspring’s compassionate team of experts provide
comprehensive programming to children and their families including counselling
on a range of topics including emotional and mental health, communication, family
finances and available resources.
